Sergeant John Robert Robinson was killed along with the other six members of his crew when the Vickers Wellington X, serial LN242 No. 12 O.T.U. (Operational Training Unit) R.A.F. he was flying in crashed at Manor Farm, Upper Boddington, in the West Northamptonshire district, in the county of Northamptonshire, England. Sadly three civilians were also killed at the Manor Farm house a mother and her two young children.
