Remembrance Day Is Everyday

Martin “Buzz” O’Brian Collection (Master Carpenter)

As well as his aviation attributes Martin was also by trade a Master Carpenter and this skill he would also put to good use wherever it could be applied in the aviation world, during his time with us at the Booker Aircraft Museum he helped construct much of the interior with many high quality bespoke display cabinets which greatly enhanced many of our museum exhibits.

Sadly today is the day we have to edit this profile as on Monday the 28th July 2025 at 09.31 our dear friend Martin “Buzz” O’Brian passed away.

Sadly today is the day we have to edit this profile as on Monday the 28th July 2025 at 09.31 our dear friend Martin “Buzz” O’Brian passed away.

We are deeply saddened to have to share the news of the passing of our dear friend and valued member of the Aircrew Remembrance Society.

Widely known and respected within the aviation community, Buzz made remarkable contributions as an aviation archaeologist, researcher, and a dedicated supporter of aircraft preservation and restoration for many decades. He also served with distinction as Secretary of the Booker Aircraft Museum.

His passion, knowledge, and commitment have left a lasting legacy, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
