Focke Wulf FW189 Werk no. 2100 Catalogue No. Luft 0006A
The Focke-Wulf Fw 189, Werk no. 2100, is the only surviving example of this German twin-engine reconnaissance aircraft from World War II. It was originally an Fw 189A-1, coded V7+1H, and assigned to 1.(H)/32. This aircraft was shot down on May 4, 1943, near the Soviet-Finnish border. The wreckage was recovered in 1991 and brought to the UK for restoration By Jim Pearce. It is now part of the Flying Heritage Collection in Washington State
