The Reason For The Formation Of This Group
We All Have Our Own Family History & Stories To Tell.
The People’s War History Project
The People’s War History Project was the first project created to give individuals and families the opportunity to preserve their own family history, memories and stories by creating dedicated pages within our growing archives.
These examples demonstrate what you could create yourself — a personal and lasting record dedicated to your ancestors, loved ones or anyone whose story you wish to preserve.
By joining the group, you can create your own pages to this same standard, adding photographs, stories, documents and memories to build a unique history record that becomes part of you're searchable history within this project archive.
Your family’s history deserves to be remembered, why not start creating yours today?
The British Library is preserving this site for the future in the UK Web Archive at www.webarchive.org.uk All site sections are subsequently recorded as part of our nation’s history and heritage at The British Library.
