David King - Chairman Aircrew Remembrance Society, Member. (Founder)

David King

David was first interested in aviation as a young boy, building balsa wood Keil Kraft models and Airfix kits, like any youngster growing up in the 1950’s and 1960’s. He and his brother would also often visit there local aerodrome White Waltham, and often cadge a flight which contributed greatly to his life time interest in aviation, with many of the war time aircraft still in use like Anson’s and Mosquitos still using the local airfields.

Alexander David King - Vice Chairman, Webmaster & Member

Alexander D King

Alex is our webmaster and son of our chairman David. Alex has had an interest in aircraft and aviation from a very early age as a result of frequent visits to his farther’s museum and accompanying on aircraft recoveries. Climbing in and out of historical aircraft such as Havard, the cockpit section of a Dakota and a Westland Whirlwind Helicopter and numerous others from a early age.

Martin "Buzz" O'Brien – Member

Member - Aviation Archaeologist, Researcher, Aircraft Preservation and Restoration contributor for many decades. Also served as secretary to the Booker Aircraft Museum.

Paul Cannon - Member

(Society Photographer and Pictorial Aviation Historian)


Paul has been a valid member of the society since its formation in 1994, and prior to this in association with The Booker Aircraft Museum. His photograph record of many of our activities over the years is a most valid contribution to our archives. Due to his interest in all aspects of aviation along with his work for the society, he has also amassed a unique historical record of photos relating to the following subjects.R.A.F. and U.S.A.A.F. Airfields, Control Towers and WW2 Air Base wall art.
R.A.F. and U.S.A.A.F. Memorials dedicated to Squadrons, Individual aircraft losses, and Individual Airmen.Other Miscellaneous Collections Include: Memorial dedications, Veterans reunions, Blue Plaque houses, Aircraft and Aviation Archaeology to name but a few.

Tamara Cracker - Member

Aviation Archivist and Archaeology site registrar. (BA in history and an MA in social and cultural history)

Tamara's work in identifying and classifying items at our site locations enables us to produce detailed accounts of our excavations for the Ministry of Defence and relative Archaeology and historical bodies.
